I had a wonderful stay at the Lagendale Hotel in Beijing, and a big part of that was thanks to Ana at the reception. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly helpful, professional, and welcoming. Ana went out of her way to ensure everything ran smoothly during my visit — from quick check-in to assisting with local recommendations and any questions I had. Her warm smile and genuine care made me feel right at home, and it’s clear she truly values guest satisfaction. Thank you, Ana, for making my stay so pleasant. Your exceptional service did not go unnoticed!

We booked via booking.com which confirmed with hotel early check in, as our arrival was at 7am, following 12 hours travelling with a 7 year old. This wasn’t the case on arrival, which nearly made us cry. Unsure if this was a fault on the hotel or booking.com’s part. Sometimes the hotel will charge a half day rate if there’s a room available for early check in, which there apparently wasn’t. Usual check in is 3pm I think, but they had a room ready for us by 11am, no extra charge. The hotel is luxurious, the corner room we stayed in was spacious. Breakfast, dining, bar and pool were all faultless. Concierge staff were helpful. Well located to subway station & the forbidden city. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location and impressive architecture. I enjoyed the size of the room and the lobby/waiting are was very comfortable. Easy to pick up /drop off for Didi and restaurants in walking distance. I liked the fact the room had plenty of usb charger ports and international plug converters so was easy to recharge my devices, a nice touch. Disliked · Our room slept 4 but we were only provided pillows and towels for 2. Had difficulty communicating with reception over the phone and had to go to reception in person to request additional towels/pillows. In fact communication in English with front desk was an issue for our stay. Breakfast was not included in the rate and was 150 RMB per person per day which was not great value

We had an excellent stay. Everything was tip top. The rooms are so luxurious with fancy amenities. Great location. Wonderful staff especially Anna of Concierge. Breakfast can be improved with variety though. Otherwise everything was simply perfect !
