Good security check, foreigner friendly security, no checking my passport compare to other places. Had a great time walking around. Most importantly the souvenirs and all food in stalls are really good price. I bought souvenirs there and I found the price is cheaper than other attractions for the same stuff.

Wangfujing is probably the biggest shopping pedestrian street in Beijing. There are a lot of shopping malls with international brands and local brands. In all the shopping malls there are also multiple food options. You can spend a good day here in case you are multiple days in Beijing traveling.

While it can get a little commercialized, especially compared to more local markets, Wangfujing still retains its charm and is a great introduction to Beijing’s urban culture. It’s easily accessible by subway and close to many attractions like the Forbidden City, so it’s a convenient stop on your itinerary.
