I was pleasantly surprised! Front desk service was so cheerful and friendly and my room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Limited facilities but there’s a cute cafe in the lobby and it’s walkable to the main dining streets of the valley. Shops and train station nearby which makes it easy to get to the airport by train or use the 50c fares to the rest of the city. The Valley does have problems with drug affected people but I didn’t have any problems.

We had good stay at Kennigo Hotel. The service is really good, staff is very welcoming, Coffee is great. Location is 7-8 min walk to Fortitude Valley Train station. Close to good night life. Friendly and always ready to help and go extra mile. Rooms are okay too and have basics what we needed. Staff even helped to change room after midnight when Aircon wasn't working. Thank you.

Great location. Don't be fooled by the photo of the glorious old building! We ended up in a very small, modern room with a view of a neighbouring wall. Still, it was clean and convenient. We also managed to avoid the despicable parking charge levied by city hotels by parking on the street for free.

I was there as part of a small conference. The staff were exceptional. Very friendly, warm and attentive. The conference room was lovely and the food was excellent. I don't stay in hotels much and I thought the room facilities very clean and perfect for a two night stay. The location was great: after sitting all day is was close enough for a decent walk along the river.

Overall a good experience. Modern rooms. The only issue I had was with some other guests being noisy. To other guests please be respectful and be quiet when in a hotel. Walking down a hallway at 1am laughing and yelling is the height of rudeness and poor manners. I wish hotels would install keep quiet signage.
