Friendly staffs and location is good to travel around. I stayed here for 10days. No complaint. They also gave me free welcome drink coupons. Thank you so much I dont know your name but you are so kind and generous to customer. I
I was upgraded to the residence which is a pleasant surprise. I love the room as it is new and spacious though it is strange where the wardrobe is located. The out-of-pocket expenses here are generally higher(a latte is KRW22K). So where did the hotel lose the 3 points? In the few interactions with the front desk, it is evident that they are not the best trained and you don't sense they are happy to be working. Also, it is fairly slow. Do note that the traffic here can be bad and cater for more time when moving around. But I'll be back for the room and the gym.
Grand Mercure Imperial Palace Seoul Gangnam It was incredible experience. The lounge/lobby/gym/sauna were incredible. The breakfast was top tier out of all the places I have been exposed to. The room was like Palace. Got crazy upgrades to executive unit! The downsides were that all the consumable items were expensive.
I arrived in Seoul around 21:30 and reached the hotel at about midnight via the airport bus service. At the check-in counter of the hotel, I had to wait for 40 minutes to check in. On the upside, my room was upgraded thanks to my membership benefits. I was assigned a room on the executive floor, which featured heritage-style decor, a comfortable bed, and soft pillows that helped me recharge for my meeting the next day. Overall, the hotel staff were attentive, though the long wait at check-in, especially at midnight was a bit below expectations.
