A trendy and upscale area located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu. The name Garosu-gil translates to "tree-lined street," and it is known for its beautiful ginkgo trees that line the main street. Fashion and shopping are prominent in Garosu-gil, with chic fashion boutiques showcasing both local and international brands. You can find a variety of unique clothing, accessories, and lifestyle products that cater to a trendy and fashion-forward crowd. Besides its stylish cafés and restaurants, it also features art galleries, design studios, and unique shops showcasing modern art, photography, and innovative designs, adding to the area's creative and artistic vibe. The street's modern and eclectic architecture, with a mix of contemporary buildings and renovated traditional structures, gives it a unique character and aesthetic appeal. Garosu-gil is pedestrian-friendly, with wide sidewalks and a pleasant ambiance that makes it easy to explore the shops and attractions on foot. It is easily accessible by public transportation, particularly from Sinsa Station (Line 3), which is within walking distance of the main street.

Known for its ginkgo trees, we weren't fortunate enough to gaze up such blooming beauty as we visited during Wintertime. Seems a cool and hip area filled with stores which allow for a nice shopping spree.

This street is very beautiful when autumn comes. There are a lot of ginkgo trees along both sides of the street, and many coffee shops, stores, and restaurants. However, I noticed that this place is less crowded than it was five years ago.

Although Garosu-gil has been suffering from bad economy, you can still find hidden gems around here, such as mimimyunga, Dore Dore (the original) Simmons Grocery store, Original pancake house and Aesop (the most amicable service). If you go to Serosu-gil, lots of attractions as well.
