Great price and location. The room was bigger than my previous hotel room in Tokyo which was a surprise. The room was clean but some things could’ve been cleaner like the remote control but otherwise our stay was comfortable. The laundry was convenient to have on site. The location is great as it’s a short walk to the train station and several restaurants.

Rooms are nice and clean but can do with a little maintenance. Our bath had a leakage but the hotel manager fixed this up nicely. Breakfast is a skip in my opinion

"Overall, the hotel is good and very well located. The room is large, but the air conditioning didn't work very well, so it was very hot. The breakfast was okay; they needed to change it up a bit because they served the same thing every day, but I think that's common in Japan. What I didn't like at all was the smell of cigarette smoke in the elevator; it was awful."

Great location. Clean hotel. Nice sized room. A solid place to stay in Kyoto.
