The location is excellent—right at JR Osaka Station, where you can easily take trains to explore all of Osaka and even a direct train to Kyoto. There are many shopping malls nearby. However, the room feels small and crowded. The cleanliness is okay, but the walls and furniture appear slightly old and worn. The hotel does not have a self-service laundry machine, nor does it have a gym room.

You cannot get a better located hotel than Hotel Granvia Osaka. It is located IN the JR Osaka station. The whole Osaka-Umeda area is walkable from this hotel. If you want to take day trip to Kyoto, just go downstairs and hop on the train and you'll be there in 30mins. The room is the regular Japanese size - small but clean and cozy. Service is great. Highly recommend.

The room was a bit tight and had some coffee or black marks on the wall, but overall still functional. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. Great staff. The best part is the location, right on top of major shopping centers. It’s the perfect place to stay at the end of your trip to get all your shopping done in one day. They have everything you could imagine just steps away!

Pros: Conveniently located very close to Osaka station. Lots of food options ranging in price $10 to 150 USD per person. Room was well-appointed and functional. Staff was professional and pleasant. Cons: If you're a bigger person (I'm over 6 feet and over 300 lbs) it can be a little tight. But if you know japan, it's fine. The wagu beef dinner set menu is very expensive, there are great options downstairs.
