Loved staying here for 2 nights. Met all our needs. All the basic amenities provided - great towels, bedding, hairdryer etc and even sky tv! Cute little balcony a bonus as well. And very easy walking distance to the railway station (12 min walk). Great value for money

Exceptional Service at Golden Star Motel - A Truly Memorable Stay I had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Star Motel during my recent trip to Christchurch, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to Marco. Our flight was delayed, and we arrived quite late, but Marco was kind enough to wait for us to check in, making sure we felt welcome and taken care of despite the late hour. He greeted us with a warm smile, offered us welcome drinks, and even provided milk so we could make coffee if we were tired after our long journey. It’s the little thoughtful touches that really set this place apart from the rest. The next morning, Marco offered us a healthy breakfast at a very reasonable price of $15 per person, which was a lovely way to start the day. Marco’s hospitality and kindness made our stay special, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his guests. If I ever find myself in Christchurch again, I’ll definitely be staying at the Golden Star Motel. Highly recommend it!

Great accommodation for our work purposes! Clean, modern rooms. Quiet and comfortable, great water pressure. Also close to delicious coffee cafe and speights ale house is 10min walk away for a hearty dinner.

Great service, was a last minute stay and staff stayed late for us. Nice area and friendly staff. The room was clean and well-presented, meeting all the standards.

5 night stay in a King Deluxe Room. Nice room with everything required. Sky channels, nice bed, consistant shower and plenty of parking. Walking distance to Apollo, Wolfbrook and Westfield Mall.
