I come here twice a year for the comedy festival and fringe festival. Drinks and snacks are reasonably price. The function room/performance area is spacious. There is a rooftop area that is perfect to hang out with friends and grab some fresh air. And the stand-up shows they offer every festival are diverse and always hilarious. Overall great vibes and great historical building.

I attended the Exford for a comedy festival show which I have attended for 3 years now. A quaint but bustling pub in the centre of the busy show district of Melbourne the atmosphere is always pumping. My only knock on this years event was the late opening of the room causing a logjam of ticket holders crammed up the stairwell. This caused some older members some stress which in my mind could be avoided with better communication. That being said, love the venue and the events they put on. Would highly recommend for shows or for enjoying a pint while watching sport on the big screen

Brilliant service, adequate accommodation with great access. Bar staff top notch and happy to have NRL on the TV on request. Bonus points for 10% off drinks and food if you're staying there!
