Had the most incredible dining experience at WeLive for Hotpot! It was a bit challenging to locate, but we managed to find it. The entire staff was not only super nice but also top-notch in their service. The food? Absolutely amazing! The Truffle Set was the highlight and a must-try. I highly recommend it! Chef Leonardo's hands-on approach added a special touch to the whole experience. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the ambiance was perfect. If you are an introvert, this place is a dream come true, but even though I went with a friend, they accommodated us by folding the divider for us to interact. I loved the concept of the private booths with curtain separators, providing the utmost privacy and comfort. The attention to detail was fantastic, as each booth was equipped with its own charging port and phone stand. The bell system to call for assistance was a thoughtful addition, considering the curtain separators. To top it off, even the restroom was impeccably clean, reflecting the attention to detail and care they put into every aspect of the place. Honestly, I can't recommend WeLive for Hotpot enough – whether you're an introvert or not, it's an experience you'll cherish. Go ahead and try it for yourself; you won't be disappointed! ???️
I love Japanese food, and Welive Restaurant does a great job with everything they serve. The staff always smiles and engages with customers to get feedback. I especially love their soy bear set and hope they continue to offer it because I want to invite all my friends to try it. ? ?
Only beef n veg serve here.. so if you not a beef eater will have to go after the veg and side dishes(non hotpot). Nonetheless, the hot food were really good such as the fried chicken and omelette. Very impress with the quality. Staff were amazing attentive n polite. Highly recommend for a nice non fuss place for dinner
This is a truly charming portal into Japan, up a flight of stairs from Russell. My son and I were keen to try the viral soy bear hot pot. It was delicious! Not just a cute gimmick, every element of the set was well considered and beautifully executed. The care is evident in every bite. Be sure to book ahead to reserve that set as they only do ten a day. As the broth bear melted, we sampled the delightful appetisers. I discovered I actually like sashimi! We were also impressed by the fresh noodles, presented “flying” style. Once cooked, they were like thin perfectly bouncy silky udon. The broth is filling but not heavy, nutty and milky with an exquisite fragrance. Overall, we were satisfied with the portions, they were perfect for us. If you want a huge heavy dinner and you eat large portions, this isn’t the one you want. Wonderful experience, and I’m looking forward to coming back again soon. The only note would be that the music is a bit loud and sounds like a 2020 YouTube instructional video for some kawaii craft. However, the noise level does insulate you from hearing your fellow diners or kitchen noises. It creates an intimate feeling to lean toward your companion to converse while you share the meal. At $88 for two people, for all the courses of such lovely quality I consider it excellent value for money.
