Same incredible standards of cleanliness and comfort as every other APA! Sparkling clean bathroom, large rooms compared to most Japanese hotels and other APA locations, extremely kind front desk staff, and the prices are a bargain. That "Emilio" that left a 1 star review was just mad that the discounted booking.com price wasn't the same as a last minute extension.

I will confess…. I read some of the reviews people leave here and I am shocked at how ignorant people are, rating a hotel low just because of your poor planning and needing to extend your stay beyond what you booked through a third party site. That has nothing to do with the hotel itself, and the staff work really hard to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, mean while, scorned and cheap people will come here and skew ratings and give a one star when it is not deserved. This hotel staff was great, my stay was perfect. I missed nothing, close to stations of you are able to walk 10 minutes. Food is delicious! I will highly recommend anyone who asks me where to stay in Kyoto and I will happily recommend this hotel. I wish I could take batches of their Kinugasa Don and have it given to me as an IV at a hospital! Amazing breakfast! Can’t wait to come back.

Rooms are super small but it has everything you need and for amazing value. So if you are looking for convenience and location it is a perfect place. The only downside is the lifts are slow and if you are checking out at 10am that's the busiest so you can end up waiting for a long time.

This is a very good hotel. The rooms are mostly very small in APA Hotels, but we lucked out and got a bigger room with two beds. The breakfast is outstanding. Location is convenient and near public transit. Staff are friendly and helpful.
