Excellent south Indian dishes authentic and delicious. Not too much chillies up so easy on the palette. Dear owner, just saw your comment. I think you misunderstood - this is a positive review and not a complaint. Our meals was perfect. Keep it up!

Good food, relaxed atmosphere as you would expect at Sarvanaa Bhavan. We had South Indian Thali with good assortment of vege curries. We miss the banana leaf base and taste can be better but given all options in Brisbane this is better then other places.

We recently visited Saravana Bhavan Brisbane and were pleasantly surprised by how much the food has improved compared to our previous visits. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and served with care. We ordered pani poori, mini ghee sambar idly, medhu vada, poori, mushroom pepper fry, paneer dosai, rava kesari, and sweet paan. Paneer dosai has always been one of our favourite items, and this time it truly lived up to our expectations – crispy on the outside and generously filled with a well-seasoned paneer masala. The mini ghee sambar idly was another standout – soft idlies soaked in perfectly spiced sambar. The pani poori had just the right balance of flavours and crunch. We also loved the rava kesari, which was soft, rich, and made with a good amount of ghee. The sweet paan brought back nostalgic childhood memories. To go with the food, we had Madras coffee, lemon soda with chat masala, and lemon lime bitter soda – all refreshing and enjoyable. The service was impressively fast – everything was served within 5 minutes of ordering. The only area for improvement would be the chutneys, which were a bit cold and lacked the depth of flavour seen in the sambar. If you're looking for authentic South Indian vegetarian cuisine in Brisbane, Saravana Bhavan is definitely worth a visit.
