For Indian cuisine enthusiasts, a visit to this Tsim Sha Tsui restaurant is highly recommended. Nestled within Chungking Mansions, it remains a hidden treasure, serving up delectable and genuine Indian delicacies. The restaurant's dishes boast distinctive flavors and enticing aromas, ensuring a gratifying dining venture. With attentive staff and a warm ambiance, customers are treated to an all-around pleasant experience. Moreover, the prices are fair considering the exceptional quality of food and service on offer. Should you find yourself nearby, it's certainly a destination worth exploring.
It's a great little place. Great food and great service. Only issue is surrounding atmosphere. Especially for someone like us who is strict vegetarian it is just crazy as most of the shops on the way to Sarvana serves meets and it's so smells one may vomit it out. But once you in no problem. Good place to sit down. Has a number of vegetarian options. So if you vegetarian and looking for Indian vegetarian food highly recommended this one. We were in Hong Kong for 3 nights so tried number of things like Dosa, Dahi Puri, Pav Bhaji, Thali and much more.
On the first level, accessible via the stairs on the right hand side of the ground floor, between the lifts for block D and E. The restaurant is directly opposite the top of the stairs, then turn left. If you find it, it will be worthwhile, the food is very authentic, classic pure vegetarian South Indian.
It's a difficult find but worth it! Take the stairs from the street level up Mansion place. Walk straight in and up the 2nd set of stairs you see and turn left. Don't be afraid to ask the Gentleman working there. They are all kind enough to direct you. :)
Food was amazing. Would really recommend if you are striving some yummy south-Indian food in Hong Kong. I personally loved the masala dosa but the mysore dosa was on a bit of the spicy side.
