Wow! This is a little hidden gem. The looks met decieve you because it’s so hidden and tucked away. BUT OMG WOW The food was aaaammaazzing! Was fresh and very delicious. I would highly recommend. They have many healthy natural veges and salads options as well. Trust the process lol you will be happy you did.
This is insane amazing. Quaint, jazzy-esque atmosphere. It takes a moment to find it, youll be questioning the direction Lol but just go down the spiral stairs, open the door, and youll see a floor mat to the left and another door and youll be entering culinary heaven. We are from Orlando and we are foodies trying many restaurants wherever we travel. The Chef, the service, excellent. Speaks english if you need to. Friendly, hospitable 100%. So glad we didn't give up finding this spot, especially at 1am! If this doesn't get Michelin star rated, its because they haven't tried it yet.
Bottom line - If you have time for one dinner in tokyo, eat it here. Really good food, really good atmosphere, safe for people with Celiac disease. Highly recommended for celiacs, but a great meal for anyone, GF or otherwise. They use GF miso and soy sauce and about 90% of the menu is GF (the owner/chef even showed me the soy sauce he used in my food), so definitely safer than most places you'll find. The ambiance was awesome, very intimate basement bar vibe. Owner speaks really good english and was open to chatting with us about this or that. FYI - you'll need to walk off the street and into the building to get to the restaurant. Go straight back to the spiral stairs and at the bottom you'll see a door with a yellow sign on it and a bunch of Japanese. Don't freak out, the restaurant is just inside the door on your left.
Hidden in the basement (use the lift!) is this amazing little restaurant. The chef was so welcoming and knowledgeable about gluten free options and the menu had so much choice. Even gluten free sauces! Weekly specials are great too ?
This place is really hidden with no signs, it looks like you are walking into flats but you can either use the lift or keep walking and you will see spiral stairs, just follow the flow and you will find it. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the mushroom soup, veggie curry and wagu curry. Would highly recommend all of those. We almost gave up looking for it but I'm glad we persisted!
