1 Chome-19 Kabukicho, Shinjuku City, Tokyo 160-0021, Japan
Nestled at the heart of the vibrant red light district, this area offers an unparalleled shopping experience, an array of delectable food and drinks, and an electrifying atmosphere brimming with unforgettable experiences and breathtaking views. As a frequent visitor to this area, I can confidently say that I’ve never been disappointed. The iconic Godzilla head stands as a testament to the region’s artistic prowess, and it’s conveniently located near the 3D cat, a must-see attraction that you won’t want to miss while exploring this vibrant hub.
A must-see for Godzilla fans and tourists alike! The Godzilla Head perched on top of the Toho Building in Shinjuku is an iconic sight. It’s so cool to see the giant head peeking out between the buildings, it feels like you're in a real Godzilla movie! You can get a great view from the street, A fun, unique experience and a perfect photo spot in Tokyo!
When walking in this area, stop by and witness Godzilla himself! Such a super cool touch for an already super cool part of town. The head lights up I think once every 2 minutes (not exactly sure) and stays lit for about 15 seconds. Great place to take that super cool picture and send back home. Would definitely recommend.
The Godzilla Head in Kabukicho is an attraction worth to visit in Shinjuku. We visited it at night and the atmosphere is amazing. You really feel the Tokyo vibes in that area. All these lights in the streets are unique, multiple restaurants and shops etc. It is a nice walk fully recommended.
It is pretty cool to see. I can only imagine how cool that hotel room is right outside his head. If you're in the area at night, do not talk to people that approach you. They are trying to scam you and take your money. It is a unique area at night for photos.
