23A JALAN THAMBIPILLAI OFF, Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields, 50470 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Traditional Chinese food. Reasonable pricing & wide variety. Friendly & helpful staff. The butter milk mushrooms with oats coating was crunchy. The lion head mushrooms with potatoes curry & the bread were a perfect combo. The sweet potato with ginger (another option is belacan / veg shrimp) was fresh & tasty. The spicy tofu was more sweet & sour, however, it was still good. The Claypot brinjal was well cooked, the gravy was too much & thus the veg lost the flavour. Had it with rice & it was fine. There's also a counter selling snacks & sauces. Will revisit to try other items.
Located walking distance from Nu Sentral. Varieties of food, u can order dish or ala carte. Recommend BBQ fish, sambal taste deliciously spicy. There is a special dish pumpkin, need pre-order. Ordered tea, price count by per pax RM2 or RM3 depends type of tea. U can also bring own tea bag, charge RM1/pax.
This restaurant is situated at a distance of 5 minutes walk away from the KL Sentral. It is spacious and had only a few customers when we arrived (around 11.00 AM). The staff was very welcoming and explained on the content of the dishes we inquired about. Vegetable fried rice & the noodles were good, but the battered mushroom was a bit too sweet for our liking. Chrysanthemum Tea was a new experience for us & it was good.
The food was incredible, the only problem is that there were too many options to choose from. We tried the lemon chicken which was so so so good, also I really enjoyed the eggplant. The prawns had an uncanny prawn texture. Food was served very quickly perfect because we were so hungry!!!! Drinks were sweet but super refreshing. Only a few minutes walk from sentral station.
