Amoy Street Food Centre #02-133, 7 Maxwell Rd, Singapore 069111
Most of the shops only open until 2:30pm to service the office crowd here. A lot of nice local food. Love the bakzhang. Been eating for 3 decades. Always sold out got to be early. The curry puff is also very nice, the flaky skins melts in your mouth with the soft fried potato curry chicken paste. So many things to choose and eat from. Price higher than other hawkers as located in cbd area. Worth dropping by early in the city area. The toilets here is also very clean.
A very busy and authentic place with lots of delicious food to try! We really enjoyed the experience, though after all the hustle and bustle we were also happy to move on to a quieter spot.
Discover a newly open coffee stall, Ho Heng Coffee. Realise that they have a few outlets in singapore. They have wide range of berverages from traditional to special drinks. They also sell matcha too at a very affordable price. Try their traditional coffee, the aroma of coffee is sooo good. And they use very cute paper cups. Their polo bun is good too and crispy. Their eggs also very delicious. Chat with the people realise they are using kampung eggs which is very unusual as seldom stalls especially in hawker use kampung eggs.
The food was nice but it was super crowded during lunch time. Not a must visit. Also very freaking hot inside
Many traditional local food. The market is sort of lost it's former glory but food is still good. I had A Noodle Story and it's still good.
