Actually, we are here just to have the chicken rice & roti canai. Didn’t know theres seasonal Gerai @ JP buffet going on every Saturday evening. So anyway, this seasonal buffet will go on until 31st November 2024. For rm158++ per head, i think its totally worth it. You can find all kind of local delicacies here including Malay, Indian & Chinese food. Top notch hospitality by the floor crew as always. Special thanks to Fazlina & Izzati for making us feel special last night ????
Very good restaurant where Malaysian cuisine is in the spotlight with superb tastes and colors. We dined on the terrace in the evening, it is very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and professional. Special mention for Suhaimi who took care of us throughout the meal. We will come back ?
Correction; there’s no option for 4.5/5 for food. We had them for Iftar and the quality of the food was superb! Everything is close to perfection except the roti canai - it’s not as fluffy aa it used to be; slightly off the mark a bit. And I was looking forward to break the fast with that (it used to be very good). But the rest is amazing - the grilled kambing, the gearbox soup, the chicken rice never dissapoint, the satay and everything else. Have I mentioned about the gearbox? They served it on a big bowl to share with the entire table, upon request. I prefer the indoor setting cause it’s a lot more cozier and my family enjoyed it more - we stayed till late 10pm. The lady that helped us picking up the used utensils was very attentive (sorry for not remembering her name, but we sat near the noodle/chicken rice area - she actually the one that made the night more enjoyable cause our table was messy and she managed it accordingly - sorry not sorry, we’re so excited about the food and we’re family of 8 adults and 3 little kids). Truly, an unsung hero! The dessert station is okay ish - the classic Malay kueh was superb, but I found the cake station (apart from the durian cake) is a bit too much for iftar (way to creamy). Overall, JP Teres still has such a great selection of food and will still bring my family over for Ramadhan! Worth every penny! Best, IA
I came here with my family for their Sajian Istana Buffet Ramadhan, it was my first time dining here for their buffet, and the buffet was really amazing because most of the dishes have the malaysian taste. Like some people said “tekak melayu” kind of dishes . I heard that their Roasted Chicken Rice was their signature dish, I tried their Chicken Rice and surprisingly it was good . The teh tarik was also good too ? I did tried their dessert, and it was delicious . The service was great, the ambience is good . I enjoyed their buffet very much . The price was reasonable due to their dishes . Definitely will come again for next year buffet ramadhan ?
