I visited Dotty's in TTDI today and was disappointed with the experience, especially given the high prices. I ordered the soft-shell crab burger (RM42+tax), but the first bite was underwhelming. The crab was overly fishy, and the juices spilling out made it feel undercooked. My friend tried it and agreed. The flavor was nothing special, with an overload of mayo that made it feel like a Ramly burger. For that price, I expected much better.

The latte was served in a glass, which was too hot to hold comfortably. While it may look aesthetic, it’s not practical. When I asked for it to be served in a cup, they gave me a takeaway cup instead—why not use a proper cup with a handle?

When I asked for warm water, they said they only serve bottled water and couldn’t accommodate my request. A simple solution could have been boiling water from the bottle, but they didn’t offer that.

The avocado chicken sandwich was tasty, but the fries were lackluster, which was disappointing given the price.

The mushroom soup was flavorful, but my friend noticed the bowl absorbed most of the liquid, leaving behind a thick, creamy residue. Which he preferred if there's more soup

The salted egg cronut was fine in taste but lacked the flaky texture you’d expect. It was also hard to cut.

Overall, the food was inconsistent, with some hits but mostly misses. For the premium prices, I expected better quality and service.

Been to the Setia Alam branch and today, the TTDI outlet. Food at both locations disappoint. Today's disappointment was the steak. Medium rare came out very well done and was from a low quality cut to boot. No greens. Serving was sparse. I can't remember what I had at the Setia Alam branch. But I do remember it was disappointing. 2 strikes.
Service was good. Atmosphere was good.
But it's a restaurant so if it can't pull off decent food, it's all for naught.
Also, does not serve tap water - ONLY bottled water. Even it's "fresh" juices are in plastic bottles. Horrible environmental choice.
Probably won't even bother for a 3rd swing.
Will not be returning.

The Berry Biscoff Pavlova caught my fancy and decided on it. Probably the sweetest thing I have ever eaten aside from sugar. The description says; A part cake, part cloud - meringue layered with whipped cream and fresh berries with Biscoff drizzles. The red insides tastes like cotton candy floss, melts in your mouth.

For food, we ordered mushroom soup, salted egg (soft shell crab) pasta, and avocado chicken sandwich. Salted egg pasta and avocado chicken sandwich was delicious. The chicken in the sandwich is not dry and quite flavourful. As for dessert, the kunafa pistachio croissant is more suitable for those who love sweet desserts. I’m not a big coffee drinker but I think they’re nice (piccolo & butterscotch latte). Waiter and waitress are patient and nice but this place very hard to parking!!
