I traveled from Auckland and have tried all the other Persian restaurants in the area, but this one is by far the best Persian restaurant in New Zealand! The food is exceptional—the lamb and chicken skewers are perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with incredible flavor. The salad was a delightful surprise, with fresh vegetables, crunchy nuts, and a special dressing that brought everything together beautifully. If you’re looking for authentic Persian cuisine, I highly recommend this place. An unforgettable dining experience!

Chic Restaurant in Christchurch is an outstanding spot for authentic Persian cuisine! The kebabs were incredible—the chicken was tender and juicy, and the meat was perfectly soft and flavorful. They also offer fantastic vegetarian options, making it a great choice for everyone. The warm, inviting atmosphere with soft music in the background and beautifully presented dishes added to the experience, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Wonderful place with great atmosphere & service. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Hannah, the girl with the curly hair, she’s great. The food was also 10/10 so authentic and tasty. Great portion sizes and a very inviting family friendly restaurant. I would 100% recommend checking out Chic if you’re in Christchurch.
