This is the golden tooth of pizza in NZ. We have been loyal patron another pizza bar for many years. Base pizza is has taken the mantle - its consistently fantastic. Go sir George and 4 cheese. Great combo. Oreo cheesecake is generous and delicious. Well done!

Not bad at all. Good distribution of toppings, could use a tiny bit more cheese or some cheese with a decent cheese pull. The pepperoni pizza is properly loaded with pepperoni -- that being said it's a local craft pepperoni which will likely not be at all like what you're used to; it's not bad, just different. I've been here twice in the span of two years and while the price has changed, the quality has not. It's a good pizza spot!

We had them cater our wedding with their Truck. They exceeded my expectations in every way. The price point was perfect, less than $50 per guest. The pizzas themselves were to die for! The staff were super friendly and professional and courteous, never getting in the way or being noisy. I was initially worried that guests might end up hungry if there weren't enough pizzas but in the end there was absolutely no risk of that. The pizzas and side salads just kept coming out for an hour and in the end we were left with about 10 whole pizzas in the fridge. Lots of friends and family said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding and several apologized for "eating more than I should have". I had to reassure them that we had more than enough. Anyway, I want to say thank you to BASE for helping make our day perfect.

Best pizza in Christchurch that I've tried! I've been to many places (Winnie bagoes La porcheta Spaglamis) etc Base beats em all! Thanks to the Base pizza Team tonight!

Delicious food and really friendly staff. The hot honey and pepperoni pizza is 10/10. Would recommend
