Small place and I managed to get a seat inside which is air-conditioned. Food was so far the best vegetarian in perth. However this is north Indian. I asked for more rice which is always the case in north Indian restaurant. The nan was excellent even though I prefer rice. I did order more rice which was extra $450. I had the grand thali which was $30. I walked out feeling satisfied and that's what counts

Order 7 Dishes Across the Menu, Will Definitely ask the management to ace up the game with the taste palate, definitely the noodles were not upto the mark but other dishes were just acceptable and not great which makes the repeat visit repeat unworthy.

I visited bala ji restaurant today  with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The pani puri was not presentable, and the water did not taste fresh, which really affected the overall flavour.

I also ordered pav bhaji, and while the menu mentioned it came with four pavs, I was served only two. Additionally, it doesn’t contained any butter, and the bhaji had an unusual amount of paneer in it. I’ve never come across paneer in pav bhaji before, so it felt a bit off from the traditional taste.

Overall, the presentation of the food was lacking, and the quality didn’t meet expectations. Based on this experience, I personally wouldn’t recommend dining here. It’s a waste of money.

Disappointing Experience with Pav Bhaji

I recently visited this restaurant to have Pav Bhaji, and it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. Despite the restaurant not being busy (only one other table occupied with three people), we had to wait more than 20 minutes for our food.

When the Pav Bhaji finally arrived, it was a complete letdown. The bhaji tasted nothing like traditional Pav Bhaji; it resembled a chhole gravy with some vegetables thrown in. The flavor was terrible, and the excessive salt made it even worse. To top it off, it was served with pickle, which left us questioning if they served us the wrong dish altogether.

We spoke to the staff, and while they offered us the option to choose something else from the menu, we were specifically craving Pav Bhaji. Unfortunately, the dish was inedible due to the excessive salt and raw vegetables, so we left it  and decided to leave. We ended up going to another restaurant where we finally enjoyed a proper Pav Bhaji.

I would not recommend this place for Pav Bhaji or for the overall dining experience. It was a waste of time and money.

First of all customer service was ridiculously bad and they need to first learn how to serve customers in Australia. Food wise they were literally no good there are far better restaurants than this in Perth. As Chef or owner himself behaves badly to the customers then how can you expect from the staff. Never ever going back to this restaurant and will definitely do not recommend to anyone.
