Vincent St, North Perth WA 6000, Australia
This was a first visit with my 2 (nearly 3) year old grandson. It was a very hot day but there was lots of shade under the trees. He had fun on his bike and in the playground. It was quite busy, especially the splashpark, but there was still plenty of space for everyone. We had a lovely freshly made orange juice and there was a coffee stand and toilets. We'll definitely visit again.
The playground features interactive water features, such as sprays, fountains, and tipping buckets, that kids can run through and play in. The playground is surrounded by lush green grass, making it an ideal place for picnics or to have a bite to eat. Overall, the Hyde Park Water Playground offers a fun and safe environment for kids to play and cool off during the hot summer months in Perth.
Found this peaceful park while I was exploring the neighbourhood, being a visitor to the area. A lovely little Cafe hidden amongst shady trees with tables and chairs and a view over the lakes with toilets adjacent. I found lots of people having picnics on the grass, photographers catching the different and plentiful bird life and others just taking it all in. Bounded by 4 main streets and easy parking all around. A nice easy walk all the way around.
Kids loved it, plenty of shade. Great place for parents to stare into their phones while their kids play, very little danger here. Coffee from the cafe was superb.
Great place to visit , the water playground wasn’t fully working, some of the water buckets wouldn’t fill up and seemed liked some of the water jets clogged, overall my Son still had a good time. Bonus there is a little cafe there which is handy!! coffee was nice ?
