The good news is Artbox Singapore is back with its biggest edition ever. Called Artbox Singapore 2019: Eden, this year's event is held at The Grounds@Kranji (at the Singapore Turf Club) and will feature over 300 booths ranging from shops to street food and even art activities and music performances.

Halal food stalls and unique drinks at Artbox Singapore 2019

One thing that we get excited about at Artbox is of course, the variety of mouthwatering street food. Since Artbox originated from Thailand, it's inevitable that street food would be one of the main highlights of the event. Here are some stalls we're looking forward to:

1. The Fab Five

Craving some mac and cheese? Then this is the perfect stall for you! Inspired by Chicago's late-night eats, The Fab Five serves variations of this ultimate comfort food ?

Their Classic Mac & Cheese is a hit with customers, and it's known to be really addictive. While most mac and cheese tend to be a little overwhelming, theirs isn't too cloying. To spice up your mac and cheese, try one of their other flavours like chilli beef, meatballs or mushrooms for a yummy twist.

Halal status: Muslim-owned

Average price of main dishes: $8-$9

When Beef Bro started selling their tantalising Taiwanese flamed-grilled beef cubes at the Geylang Serai Bazaar last year, it was really well-received! Since then, they've opened three branches across Singapore and has become a familiar favourite at bazaars.

This time, they'll be introducing Thai-inspired items to their menu like Tom Yum Wagyu Burger, Phat Kaphrao Beef Cubes (Thai basil flavour) and Beef Bro Crazy Float. We can't wait to try these delightful items!

If you're lucky, you'll get to try one of their special flavours, Taro Milk Tea! In case milk tea isn't your thing, their fruity sodas will be more than enough to quench your thirst ?

5. Gryphon Tea

With all the crowd and heat at Artbox, you're going to need a refreshing drink to quench your thirst! Gryphon Tea's cold brew sparkling mocktails will be the perfect treat to beat the heat.

What's even better is that these mocktails are served in LED cups, so you'd be able to see them light up if you're at Artbox at night. Not to mention that you'll get a free reusable straw set when you purchase a bottle of cold brew (while stocks last). Now you can slurp on their teas and play your part to save the environment ?

Halal status: Gryphon Tea isn't halal-certified but we've checked that they don't serve alcohol or use any animal-derived ingredients. We recommend that you buy their drinks at your own discretion.

IG-worthy backdrops at Artbox Singapore 2019

Thinking of heading to Artbox with your friends? Then you won't want to miss the IG-worthy backdrops at this year's event! With more containers than any other overseas Artbox events, rest assured there'll be plenty of opportunities to take awesome photos ?

Be greeted by this 3-storey high entrance container when you arrive at Artbox. As this year's Artbox is garden-themed, you can expect the containers to be painted in eye-catching floral designs ?

Another highlight is the Artbox Vines Arch where you can walk through a tunnel of lush greenery and make some stops along the way and pose for a photo.

Last but not least, don't miss out on a photo op at this 12-metre tall gorgeous backdrop which will feature "lenticular" designs. In case you're wondering what "lenticular" is, it's when the designs will seemingly "move" or change when you look at it from different angles! Pretty interesting if you ask us ?

Besides yummy halal food and shots for the 'gram, you can also look forward to unique clothes, fashion accessories and handicrafts from brands across the region plus live performances from artists from Malaysia and Thailand too. Not to mention a 40-foot shipping container called "Heart of Eden" which you can walk through and immerse yourself in a sea of flowers, trees and mirrors with floral scents ?

Time to start planning your visit to Artbox 2019 with your loved ones!
