Hei Sushi is Singapore's first and only halal-certified kaiten sushi conveyor belt restaurant, where you can reach out and take any sushi to get your meal started. 6. Oishii Corner

Credit: Azman Zainal on Facebook Tucked away in a hawker centre in Toa Payoh, Oishii Corner serves a mix of authentic Japanese and fusion Japanese dishes. Owned by a Malay-Muslim couple, Mr Ramli Ibrahim and his wife, Mdm Ning Asih, the stall has been around since 2017 but it's still pretty much a hidden gem. According to Berita Harian, Mr Ramli was previously a cook before pursuing his own business. The best part is that prices of their dishes are super affordable, ranging from $4 to $6 for main dishes! Looking for something comforting? Whether you're craving Inari, Beef or Teriyaki Chicken or Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen, you'll surely be left satisfied. Udon is one of our favourite Japanese dishes. But did you know that each region of Japan has its variation of this popular dish?
