Room was quite big for myself and partner but no wardrobe or similar to hang clothes, nor place to put luggage. Bed was a bit hard and only 2 pillows were provided. On the plus side, staff were super friendly and efficient, the cafe was excellent with huge choice, vegetarian and vegan options, and my ideal breakfast i.e. toast, boiled eggs and jam, butter, marmalade. The cafe is open 24/7 and there is a fridge full of excellent beers for sale. You can use a microwave any time. We had to ask for a kettle and mugs, which were given to us gladly, as well as a multi socket extension because there was a dodgy socket in the wall. When my partner complained about that, the manager came and looked at it and then offered us free beer and free breakfast for compensation. They also let you store luggage and sit in the cafe even after check out. Definitely would go back there!

As a very light sleeper, I had some trouble with the noise that regularly came from the piping system passing through our room. My friends in other rooms did not have this issue, so it does not appear to be a common problem. Upon mentioning this to the staff, they were immensely helpful, even upgrading us to a bigger room with no added charge simply because it was much much quieter. As a result, I got great rest and a wonderful experience during my stay at Sakura Hotel Hatagaya.

When we first arrived, the staff here were absolutely lovely. The rooms were spacious enough for both me and my friend. They greeted us every morning and night with smiles for the 3 nights we spent there. Will definitely come back in the future when we return ?
