An iconic ideal place to visit in Bangkok. Free entrance for Thai, foreigner fee 100 baht. 344 steps to the top where you can furthermore climbing up to heaven, a big area on the very top of this place. You can view Bangkok in 360 degree. Time duration for visit, 1-2 hours. Walking distance from car park is about 1.5 km. including 344 steps climbing up a comfortable stair in circular motion.

What an amazing temple! Some of the reviews were not accurate so here's the truth: It's a not so hard climb up, for a one of a kind view of Bangkok. They have mist streamers to cool you off along the way up. There is a cafe near the base of the temple. If you go when it opens before the tourist groups come, you'll be the crowd and the sun! The only thing that sucked for me, is there was some beautiful amulets but they are cash only. Make sure you check out everything on the temple grounds. There are plenty of other places to see other than just the Golden Mount!

Don't miss the Golden Mount (Wat Saket) if you're in Bangkok! The view from the top offers a unique panoramic perspective of the city that you likely haven't seen before. It's free for Thais and has a very reasonable entrance fee of 89 baht for foreigners.

A beautiful temple, indeed most of Bangkok temples are, somehow my wife and I find a temple to Be more enjoyable if it’s not to busy, so this one isn’t. Is not one of the most famous and popular so our visit was so enjoyable, we had fun visiting this and emerging into the culture. The top of the temple provides great views and remember always to respect the culture and dress accordingly. Although they have a small store providing refreshments mind Bangkok could be very hot so bring your own refreshments

A must see if you are in Bangkok. The Golden Mount is 344 steps up but they are very small steps with some areas for a break. It was not too difficult - coming from a young, but not in the best shape, traveler. It’s really beautiful once you make it to the top. Not only do you get the see the incredible structures and Buddhas, but also the views of the city. There are many small shops nearby as well with ice cream or souvenirs. I could have probably spent half a day here. If I remember correctly I believe it was 200TBH
