What an amazing find. This halal restaurant has recently been listed in the Michelin guide. My beef biryani was excellent. Fork pull apart tender beef, spiced rice and a savory spearmint gravy which was phenomenal. This is going to be a regular restaurant going forward. It's hidden behind a clothes stall so may be difficult to find.
A small halal restaurant in the Khao San Road area. We came during dinner and not many menus available here. Probably most of it has already finished since the restaurant operates in the morning. The food is okay, the price is also quite fair together with the portion. The service is also good despite the language barriers that we have. Waiting time is not that long. The seating is quite limited and the cleanliness can be improved. The environment is just okay. You can't hang out here for too long because it's not that comfortable.
Walked from Itsaraphap to Khao San passing by Wat Arun and taking in the touristic atmosphere. The casual dining hawker-style restaurant was buzzing with diners. Apparently, it has received some accolades for their culinary. I had skipped breakfast hence I was super famished. I had those dishes all by myself! The bee-hoon beef noodle comes in two portions. I should have gotten the larger one. I could imagine myself swimming in that beef broth! The slice beef was tender and the noodle carried the flavour well. This is highly recommended! The beef skewers (just like the satay back home) were tender and packed with spices. The peanut sauce was smooth and thick which I think they used thickener (flour) which I don’t quite like but the taste are all there, not overly sweet and spicy. The grilled beef balls’ texture was like the bakso but they were more tender and not springy/rubbery. The sweet, spicy and hot sauce seemed home-made. Tasted really good. The spring rolls were crunchy despite being pre-fried so it did not serve to me hot. Vermicelli noodle, carrots and chicken made up the filling. Overall, I was satiated with the very good meal!
Went here nearly everyday during my stay in Banglamphu, Bangkok. My savior during the day with great halal foods and drinks. The staffs not quite fluent in English, but they can guide you with simple sentence and very helpful. Now I see why this restaurant get Michelin Star in 2025, because all of the foods are recommended! Beef biryani, and ice coffee, great combo for lunch! Will be missing this place so much when I get back to my country!
Incredibly fast service, food took about a minute to come out. Definitely not made to order but it’s busy enough that everything tasted fresh. Small and simple menu. Ordered a few dishes and the chicken biryani was the star. $60 baht and flavorful and filling. Chicken fell off the bone. Dumplings could be skipped.
