46 หมู่ 3 Na Nuea, Ao Luek District, Krabi 81110, Thailand
One of the most wonderful temples I ever seen in my life. You will be amazed seeing it. It is huge and surreal with the colors and the unique architecture. The ticket is 50 bTh per person and Thank to previous review, we had socks on and felt much better from the ground heat as you have to leave your shoes outside. The main temple is huge that you take at least 45 minutes to walk around and see how amazing it is . There are also some others smaller constructions they are building more. Remember to dress properly when you visit the temple
A must see! This place is epic, such a beautiful temple complex. It was one of the most peaceful places I've been too. Before entering the complex go eat at the local restaurant on the left side of the road before entering the gate. Food is amazing and the owner is super lovely. I spent several hours walking around the temple complex.
The place is incredible!! It's really unique, I've never seen such a place before ! You have to pay 50 bath per person for tourists to go in the main temple, it really worth it ! We went on a Sunday and it was super calm ! I really recommend the place. It's something so unique to see ? You have one big temple but also a lot of other temples to check... it was too bad because a lot were in construction but you can still take a look at them from the outside, which is impressive to see! We got to see an elephant as well, it was so fun!
Wat Maha That Wachiramongkol, also known as Wat Bang Thong, is a serene and spiritual destination that showcases the beauty of Thai architecture and culture. The temple's tranquil surroundings and rich history make it a must-visit spot for those seeking spiritual insight and cultural enrichment.
We had the privilege of visiting a truly breathtaking Buddhist temple — an awe-inspiring space of peace, beauty, and architectural wonder. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was serene and welcoming, with beautifully manicured gardens, towering statues, and intricate carvings adorning every corner. The scale of the temple was incredible — vast open courtyards, expansive halls, and towering pagodas that seem to touch the sky. Every detail, from the delicate gold leaf work to the peaceful sound of chanting in the background, made the visit feel sacred and deeply moving. Whether you're spiritual or simply appreciate history, culture, and beauty, this temple is a must-visit. A truly unforgettable experience that leaves you feeling lighter, more centered, and incredibly grateful.
