We moored on one of the 4 buoys and spent the night. A lot your boats come in and people stay for the day but it’s a beautiful setting. Great place to sit and watch the sunset.
Small island with a small beach, great for snorkelling. We visited when it was raining but it was still beautiful. There is a small cafe. Watch out for the little jellyfish. Again can get crowded quickly when the tour boats arrive.
Koh Pakbia is a beautiful stop on the Hong Islands day trip circuit. The sandbar that emerges during low tide is a real highlight — great for a leisurely stroll or snapping a few photos with the limestone backdrop. The beach itself is clean and peaceful, and the water is calm enough for a quick swim or just to soak your feet. It’s not as dramatic as some of the other islands nearby, but it offers a quiet charm and plenty of space to unwind, especially if you catch it when fewer tour boats are around. Facilities are minimal, so it’s more of a nature stop than a serviced beach, but for a short visit, it’s definitely worth it.
Loved this island trip! ?️ The water was clear and that scenery with the big cliffs? Wow! ✨ Even with the hot weather, it was perfect for cooling off. Got to see some cool wildlife, especially that monkey enjoying a snack! ? And nothing beats exploring on a classic longtail boat.
