A wonderful visit to this UNESCO world heritage site during the morning hours. The whole premises were calm and peaceful and devoid of unruly tourists. A nice circumambulating pathway allows a view to the primary temple complex and the activities therein. A Sarong is a must for ladies and a full trouser for men. Tickets are easily available at the entrance.

Absolutely stunning! Taman Ayun Temple took our breath away with its serene atmosphere, lush gardens, and elegant architecture. The moats and water features surrounding the temple create a peaceful oasis that feels timeless. We loved walking along the stone paths and admiring the multi-tiered shrines rising toward the sky—each one beautifully maintained and full of meaning. Compared to other more crowded temples in Bali, this felt like a calm retreat. You can truly feel the spiritual energy here without distractions. It’s clean, peaceful, and deeply connected to Balinese history and the island’s unique subak irrigation system. A must-see for anyone wanting to experience the real soul of Bali. Don’t rush—walk slow, breathe deep, and take it all in

One of my favorite temples in Bali. After visiting many of the island’s more popular (and often crowded) temples, Taman Ayun was a breath of fresh air. The grounds are expansive, with a scenic path around the perimeter that lets you take in the full complex—including the temple amphitheatre. Tickets were only 30,000 IDR per person—great value. Highly recommend!

Clean and well maintained temple with a huge lotus ? pond. The temple compound looks great. The parking is nearby. They explain the history and significance of the temple using a short movie. I would recommend carrying an umbrella and water. The temple compound is open and it gets hot.

This is one of the more quieter temples in Bali. It's a fairly large temple with 2 moats. There is also a museum-like section with history of that temple and a video watching room. You are given a sarong to wear at the entrance - this is included in the ticket.
