I think this tiny shrine and the connected park are one of my favorite places in Kyoto. It's nothing crazy, but there are almost no tourists of any kind and the park is very peaceful.

Beautyfull scenery and atmosphere. Relaxing ambience.

The google map will bring you to the weird short cut path behind the shrine but it's okay. This Inari Shine is very powerful and sacred according to the information from the local. It's very good alternative for praying to Inari god?if you want to avoid crowded before from Fushimi Inari Shrine. It's giving zen, private and calm feeling after the visit.
