I have been here so many times it is amazing. This museum is a great visit for anyone looking to do something over the weekend. Being a transport enthusiast means not only I have been here many times but have attended all of the regular special events. I have been able to acquire many rare transport collectibles from the shop inside so that is great. (The last 20 photos or so are from the most recent tour, the Scania L113CRL Ansair Orana R6 farewell tour)

Excellent museum that is entirely volunteer run. Special events like Hong Kong bus day, busfest or the like are the best bus events to attend in Australia. Hong Kong or London bus days offer a chance to ride iconic foreign vehicles without having to leave Australia, and in case of Hong Kong bus day, offers an experience that is impossible anymore in Hong Kong, as the attendance will show the popularity of the museum's exhibits and their special events; to the point that people are willing to travel from interstate and overseas specifically to visit. Such is the power and allure of the museum, its exhibits and special events.

A great collection of older Sydney and some international buses. Absolutely immaculately kept by volunteers; full credit to them. Wonderful bus display, some of which you can enter. Open 1st and 3rd Sunday each month usually with a themed bus ride to Town Hall in the city. Great day out for everyone.

Little known hidden gem attraction in the Inner West of Sydney. Only open on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. The setup is impressive with restored vintage buses housed in a large warehouse/hangar. Some buses you can go on, including upstairs on the double deckers. They also have a red London double decker and the old Hong Kong double deckers. I enjoyed seeing buses from my childhood (with the vinyl blue tartan print). My mum enjoyed seeing the double decker buses from the 1960s that she used to catch in the city to work. The signage is very detailed especially the World War 2 exhibit with lots of facts I didn't know. There are also displays of models, old uniforms and tickets, signage, bus stops and benches. The highlight was catching the vintage double decker bus from the museum to Park Street in the city. We sat up on the top deck at the front and it was quite a different view of ANZAC Bridge as the bus chugged along. We got off in the city to have lunch but there is the option to do a round trip, return later or start your journey in the city out to the museum then back to the city (which I would recommend for tourists. The place is run by enthusiastic volunteers who know their stuff and their passion shines through. There is a gift shop onsite that sells books, models and collectors items and well as chips and soft drinks / water. They make annoucements when the buses are departing so you can queue up outside. Great day out, nostalgic and the kids looked like they were loving it too! $22 for adults which includes bus rides.

Return transport is included, with a scenic drive past the Sydney Harbour Bridge and a chance to watch the Vivid light show on the bridge. ? The museum isn’t very large, but it features an impressive collection of buses from different eras, perfect for history lovers and photography enthusiasts alike. ? A great spot for taking photos! ?️ Tickets are just AUD $22, well worth the price. ⏰ Spent about an hour to explore the whole museum.
