The architecture of the museum designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is impressive. I visited in the beginning of April. Some parts, including the spiral, were under construction, so they were not accessible to the public, but when I purchased the ticket, they offered a reduction for when they finished the construction. Artworks are beautifully displayed in white rooms with curved corners on different levels. They show some of the most impressive pieces from artists such as Mondrian, Renoir, Picasso, and Manet… The views of Central Park from inside the cafeteria are so beautiful and iconic of New York City.

I have always wanted to visit this iconic art gallery and it didn't disappoint. This truly is a very special building and it provides a wonderful way to display such a diverse collection of art. The displays were extremely easy to navigate and find your way around and it felt like just the right amount of work was on display, meaning I could enjoy and absorb what was around me rather than being conscious of moving on as there's more to see which results in art fatigue and being overwhelmed. The range of art was sublime, sensitively displayed and I was surprised and impressed to see some wonderful works by the masters along with much more contemporary and intriguing works. I visited later in the afternoon midweek and it wasn't very busy, meaning I could really enjoy the space and the art. All the team I came across within the gallery were also warm, friendly and helpful. In my opinion, this truly is the best art gallery in NYC!

Very nice! I recommend taking the elevator to the top and making your way down through the exhibits. They have a few permanent displays of Monet, Van Gauh, and a few others. The vast theme is one that changes. It does not take long to walk through. There are rooms off the spiral as well, so be sure to not miss them.
