A nice park with beautiful pier view and different style yachts. A restaurant next to the pier provides outdoor seats for custumers to enjoy view on the bank. After dark, an indoor pub, next to the pier as well, can accompany to you for the rest of night. The yacht is for rent too. We were cruising around Kaushiung harbor and enjoied an excellent gourmate meal to spend a terrific evening.

Offers a great view of the 85 Tower and the port. Many families with their children and dogs here, as well as young couples on a date.

This park is a wonderful place for walking especially in the morning for local residents; and, maybe in the evening for sightseeing visitors. It locates at middle of Kaohsiung port surrounded by travelers center (in construction), world trade and exhibition center, 85 sky tower and city library.

One of the best places to visit and just relax, whenever I stop by the park I always spend hours relaxing and talking with friends and family. The best time to come is during the night where it is cool and comfortable. During this time we can enjoy the scenery and harbor. The harbor at night is really nice and calming. There is always some boats parked on the side. That gives it a very ecstatic look and makes it feel like a harbor. But with the park like side that have a lot of seats and places to look. The area has also some photo worthy shots of sculptures and a walk through walkway that goes up and gives you a better view of the whole harbor and water side. The place also is big enough for a lot of people. So if it's a weekend there is still a lot of space in the park to give you privacy. The park also include a small bar on the side of the harbor that you can reserve or walk in to have a nice sun set drink. The place can be a little expensive and there might be a lot of people. Depending on the day or holiday. But if you are lucky enough you can have the whole place to yourself. As this place can be quite expensive but is worth it if you ask me. The night may be my preferred time to visit. But the day visit is also very good and I've come here a few times during the day and it was worth while. I brought some food and had a nice picnic on one of the benches. If you are lucky you could see some activities that people sometimes do in the park. From Exhibition beside the park to locals bringing their parrots to the park to fly around. These are some of those things that not a lot of people post but if you have been here for a while you can see them. Hope this can help people know sometimes the simple places can be the most memorable ones.
