Surreal sculpture of a baby that seems to be hanging in the air, but is actually meticulously balanced on its right hand. Located inside the Gardens by the Bay. Created by the famous UK sculptor, Mark Quinn, the sculpture is beautiful and send as message in that it represents nature amid the concrete jungle around.
Really impressive and giant baby. Taken long time to find this location. U can walk straight from the Supertrees center, about 10 minutes
A very interesting sculpture in the Gardens by the Bay, especially the way the sculptor making it looks like floating in the air. This white painted sculpture looks very real and is very well maintained, considering it has already 10 years since it was installed.
?An amazing larger-than-life size naked white baby boy floating in the air. ?The interesting bit about the sculpture is that paradoxically, that heavy baby seems to be weightlessly floating in the air. ?The raised lawn where the display is situated elevates the whole visual experience. ?"Planet" sculpture is the work of Marc Quinn, a renowned British artist's first installation artpiece in Asia.
Very good and worth a visit. The 'larger-than-life' naked white baby boy seems to be floating in the air. The sculpture has been made such that the baby seems to be effortlessly floating in the air; and the placement of the statue on the elevated grass adds to the elevated, visual experience. it is the work of Marc Quinn, a renowned British artist. Very clever.
