The Mumtaz Mahal is located in the Red Fort, Delhi. The Mumtaz Mahal is one of the six main palaces that were positioned facing the Yamuna River. All six palaces were connected by the Stream of Paradise, a raceway which ran through them. One of the topmost monuments of India and the walk around the place is so peaceful. A must visit for relaxation and learning further about the history of Indian revolution of getting freedom. There are also galleries within to learn further about each action and munitions used during that time. Great place to be decided for children to understand our history and explore this monument. Also, they host lot of shops within the demesne. During Indian Independence day the Indian flag is hoisted then

If you want to see the entire Red Fort in one go, please go before 5:00 PM because after that they ban entry at some places, due to the sound and light show. and only those people who have booked tickets for the show can stay after 5:00 PM. *There are 2 sound and light shows everyday. The first one is from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and the second one is from 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm. The first 5 minutes of the show takes place in the open so that the rest of the public can also watch the show and gain knowledge along with enjoyment. Earlier, entry to the Red Fort was free and there was no show of any kind. But recently, an Indian conglomerate group named Dalmia Bharat has started presenting this sound and light show, also called *Jai Hind* in short, and the money earned through tickets is used in the maintenance of the Red Fort.
