Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

We had a whale of a time visiting this Point. Starting from the coach drive from Geneva via Laussane and Zermatt (elevation 5400), the beautiful scenic drive, nice restaurants enroute, the cable car station, the cable car ride through 3 intermediate stations and finally the time we spent at the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise at an elevation of 12740 ft. Did venture out onto the open Matterhorn View Deck and enjoyed the breathtaking views and the snowfall at minus 14 degrees Celcius. The Snow sculpture Museum which is part of the glacier is just fantastic. Thereafter enjoyed a quick bite and steaming cup of coffee at the restaurant with great views. It is so nice to watch from the cable cars, View point and the deck, the hundreds of enthusiastic and adventurous skiers, snow skaters and para sailing folks.

Glacier paradise along with Zermatt ski restort are truly must see when in Switzerland. This is by far best ski experience we’ve had! Ski slopes are great and since it is so high, slopes don't get destroyed at all, even after 3pm. Glacier paradise is great way to relax from skiing and have lunch on 3883m with a great view. Can’t wait to go back!

Must visit spot of Zermat! The top station which houses a short walkway where people can go out in the open to see the Matterhorn and other mountains nearby, on a clear day, the view would be breathtaking, or else, you can still enjoy the feels of snow and ice winds at that height. It is an amazing experience!

This the coolest place in the world. First there was a little theater place to relax. Second there was a whole cave carved into the glacier. That had a slide, lights, a giant crack with crystals and a lot of other veg cool things that I loved. Third a restaurant with the best food.

It is absolutely wonderful place! Mountains, blue glacier, snow! The way here is quite expensive, but it’s worth it. Even if there are clouds all around, it is still amazingly beautiful. I would like to come back here again ?
