Such a beautiful piece of nature. Beautiful waterfalls and tons of places to swim in the clear, cool water flowing from the mountains. Very much worth the 220 baht I paid for the entry on a motorcycle. The place must be unknown to farangs because I was there in December(high season) and I was the only one. Not often you get a chance to skinny dip in such a cool place, finally got some tan on my pale ass. I didn't get to explore the ~3km trail heading up the mountain as it was closed due to recent rains. I still loved it very much and will come back any chance I get.
If you go for the waterfall then go to the highest one - not many people and the water is cleaner. If you go to nature trail - well, good luck. I almost got lost twice. If you go to nature trail from the point on the photo - then watch out the road. At some point it goes up (and it is wider) or down. You have to go down. If you go up then you will get to the point where there is no road anymore. And you have to go down. In general - the nature trail isn't worth it.
Amazing escape into nature with trails and hikes leading up to the waterfalls. There are levels to the waterfall and can dip into the pool on every level to cool down.
A hike there is one of the absolut best thing to do from Ao Nang or Krabi. Get a hiking app like alltrails for details and prepare seriously. The hikes are easy if you got good shoes and if you know how to walk on a mountain path.
A must see - beautiful park. Easy walking paths, temple, can hire a car to wander I heard, can camp - not sure if overnight allowed. Easy walking paths, lush green and peaceful. Ticket price - 100 THB for foreign nationals.
