One of the better butterfly parks I’ve ever been to! Definitely worth a visit. The price of entry is very reasonable and the trip up there is scenic. The park itself is quite big for a butterfly garden and they have a lot of species that were very active. The cocoon house was a highlight for me as I was able to hold an Atlas moth. If you like interactive animal experiences I really recommend this place. The restaurant is also quite nice, they serve vegan ice cream and have very nice drinks. The surrounding rice fields are very pretty. If you’re staying in Denpasar and need a break from the intense heat it’s a bit cooler up here as well.
The butterfly garden and cages were absolutely exquisite! Gorgeous butterflies and fauna everywhere with a really big space for them to fly around. The staff in the cocoon room were extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. They also let you hold some of the butterflies. The park also had some other animals there but the cages were a lot smaller in comparison. We didn’t need to buy tickets in advance. We just walked up, bought the tickets on arrival and could enter right away.
Such an amazing experience. The gardens are incredible and walking through the butterfly enclosure is just so serene. The cocoon room where they explain how everything happens is also awesome. Very family friendly with a small water park and lovely restaurant so you can make a day out of it.
Kemenuh Butterfly Park is a peaceful and enchanting place, perfect for families and nature lovers. The park is beautifully maintained, and walking among hundreds of colorful butterflies is a magical experience. You can see them up close, and even have some land on you! The staff is friendly and informative, offering insights into the life cycle of butterflies. There’s also a section with cocoons and caterpillars, which is fascinating to watch. The garden setting is serene and great for taking photos. It’s a wonderful break from the busy tourist spots and a great way to appreciate Bali’s natural beauty.
