Maybe you're thinking, why should I pay for parking and then pay for entrance just to look at rocks? First of all, it costs very little, and secondly, the rock formations really are stunning, and in my opinion, worth it. You start out seeing cool shapes made by lava, and further on, you can see the cliff leading to the ocean with column-like shapes and watch the waves smash against it. On the other side, another dramatic scene unfolds. If you're not into witnessing what nature has wrought, maybe this isn't for you. I think you will be glad you came.
Beautiful landscape but extremely windy so look out for that! The observation decks are nicely built and looks quite new. Somehow no fees was being charged, looks like they are still setting up the ticketing system. Plenty of parking spots.
We were there in cloudy weather, but it was 100% worth it. The incredible story of the origin of the hexagons was amazing. Beautiful volcanic coast and turquoise water
A must-see geospot here. Its volcanic rock forms the most perfect hexagonal shapes of all rocks. Feel free to take as many photos as you want but remember - no drones. But then, how did I post these drone shots? I must say the question lies within WHERE you are allowed to deploy the drone. And if you are dumb enough to just liftoff in the middle of the park, you might as well play with your balls in the hotel room. Seriously, the signs literally say NO DRONES!
Beautiful natural landscape from the volcano ashes. One side is more iconic. Strong wind and nice weather. Can build stone piles
