Số 2 Lê Duẩn, Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh
Main highlights are the weapon showcase outdoors which shows all the North Vietnamese artillery, captured aircrafts, US aircraft debris, russian trucks and tank. No AC or fan indoors and even the lights are not on. The only nice part inside was the bust of HCM and the map. Entry is free
Also American-Vietnamese war remnants are there in very good state with detailed descriptions and heroic memorial. There is a big wedding hall , so we also have tradition in post-USSR countries to make wedding photos on the war memorials and remnants like tank and airplanes, like giving gratitude and respect to price, payed for peace. Thus pace just few steps away History Museum of Vietnam and also near Zoo and Botanical garden, but for obe day it is not really enough time to visit all tgus three places in ones.
The museum exhibits on the last campaign to end the Vietnam war, a great place to visit. - Indoor: Features a range of photos, documents, items, and model demonstrations put together to provide a insightful understanding of the campaign's evolution and its impact. - Outdoor: You can see various types of howitzers, vehicles used by the Liberation Army during the time. Additionally, the display includes notorious weapons, representing for the Cold War era, such as the SAM-2 missile, the F4 fighter jet and the T-54/55 tank.
Entrance is free but you can pay 10 000 VND for a brochure. Small in comparison to other museums in the city but worth a visit to see some old war items, from clothing and personal belongings, to artillery and aircraft. Not all displays have English plaques but most do.
Was nice to see - not so big - free entry See what they are using for the war - all famous people in this history.
