A vegetarian buffet at a family-owned restaurant is worth a try. The food quality is excellent for the price of 50k per pax, offering a variety of vegetables, rice, and noodles. Dessert options include tea or sweets and fruits. The small restaurant is tucked away in an alley, with just enough seating. The vegetarian menu is diverse and changes daily. After finishing the meal, customers are expected to clean their used dishes in designated trays. The owner and staffs are friendly. The lunchtime rush can be a bit noisy.
Very lovely place where you can enjoy a veggie buffet for 50k. We are both vegan and we’re very happy to enjoy this Vietnamese buffet! The buffet is not huge, but that’s great, this way you know everything is fresh and prepared with love! There is still more than enough to enjoy! One of the soups was definitely my favourite ?. The tofu and pickled veggies were also super tasty. Very kind family and cannot recommend this place more. ? I give this place a 10/10 ?
Quán Chay Nhà, tucked away in a quiet corner of Ho Chi Minh City, offers a unique and flavorful vegetarian dining experience. The restaurant boasts a charming, rustic ambiance with its simple wooden decor and warm lighting. The menu is extensive, featuring a diverse range of dishes from familiar Vietnamese classics like pho and spring rolls to more creative options like lemongrass tofu and coconut curry. While the food is undoubtedly the star of the show, I found the service to be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, eager to assist with menu recommendations and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Other times, the service felt a bit slow and inattentive. The quality of the food, however, largely made up for any service shortcomings. The dishes I tried were all beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The vegetable pho was particularly memorable, with a rich and flavorful broth and a generous portion of fresh vegetables. The spring rolls were crispy and light, and the dipping sauce was a perfect accompaniment. Overall, Quán Chay Nhà is a worthwhile dining experience for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The delicious food and charming atmosphere make it a standout option in the city's vibrant culinary scene. While the service can be inconsistent, the overall experience is still highly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend making a reservation, especially during peak hours, as the restaurant can get quite busy. Disclaimer: This review reflects my personal experience and opinions.
