I love the walked around quarry and then we enjoyed surrounding ourself with those pinkish cherry blossom. It was beautiful and sunny day. Also have flat ground suitable for picnic and/or to do some activities with family & friends.

A great place and some good walks around the quarry itself. Great information about the quarry and what it was like during its heyday. The cafe is small but has lots of options and lovely coffee. Well worth a visit.

Love to visit the place for photographs. Spot the rabbit ?, coffee then return home. If you have digs, good to bringing along. I travel there by bus from bus interchange but other than that you can drive car or bike for good exercise.
