Bad experience, asked the uncle at the counter abt the rate for the family bike and I pointed at the particular bike that I’m keen in (the physical price list at the counter stated 30mins for $25 and he also pointed and mentioned it’s $25). I double confirmed and agreed at the pricing for the family bike i chose and did a paynow of $25, he also took photo of my paynow payment (which clearly state $25) for reference.

Shortly 10mins into my ride, he called me and claimed that we took the bigger bike and said that it’s $35 instead and we should pay $10 more when we return. Feeling cheated, we immediately rode back and changed into a smaller bike and insisted not to pay the additional $10.

And also, my receipt stated that my ending timing was at 3.17pm. It was 3.07pm and we wanted to quickly continue to ride for 10mins more but was delayed by the uncle (wasting some time) as he stopped us, saying our rent has ended. I am not sure what tactic this uncle is trying to play here but I just feel that it wasn’t a good experience. Rent at your own risk.

The buy one hour get one hour free at $10 was a good deal, even though bikes are pretty worn out. Uncle was friendly and nice, even gave his hp number for us to WhatsApp him in case we need help. His instructions was to come back at 6.30pm (we were given 10 mins less than the stipulated 2 hours) and if it rains, stop cycling and wait for rain to stop, especially if it has lightning and contact him with our Google location if we need help and he will come and pick us. Half an hour prior return time I texted him to inform that it was raining with lightning and we might be late. Then he replied the shop closed at 6.30pm so if we aren't back by 6.30pm we will be charged $20 per bike for overnight fee. Different tone and instruction from initial. Later on when I check the receipt actually we should have been given 10 more minutes grace period to return the bike.

What a better way to unwind. Many of us love the beach, the sand, and the bicycle, not forgetting nasi lemak at Changi Village aka CV. A part of life that we want but usually have limited time to do so.

Now u can say Let's Go! With a bus stop less than 50metres away, a bicycle shop by the iconic beach and a historic feature (shall update that later on), you can skip all the excuses aside. Oh ya, if u drive, there are more than enough carpark lots!! Heheheh...

Check out our photos for a great time with your friends! Bicycles, snacks and even a pedal version of Go-Kart. If that word doesn't add the hype to come here, im not sure what else will..hehe.. just to entice further, this place actually has another shop in East Coast.. Where actually? Well, the super famous bike shop that has been around for sooooo looonnggg... you can actually travel from here to there...well, u will figure it out.

Nway, there are promotions going on right now, so do take advantage of the situation. While you are there, do take note the highlights of the place itself.

The opening hours stated that it’s open at 9am. When I arrive at 910hr, the middle age Malay uncle was moving the bikes around while having a cigarette in his mouth( hey, this is a violation, NParks does not allow smoking. ).

He told me he is preparing and we wouldn’t be able to rent bike after he is done with moving the bikes. Pls don’t state your opening hours at 9am when you are NOT ready to start business. Even, he allow use to choose bike after we wait for 15mins.

The conditions of the bike are horrendous. $20 for 3 hours. Share bikes are more value for money. That is how bad their bikes are.

Pls buck up or close down for good.

I wish I can give zero star.

Bikes are badly maintained. When I asked for a change of bike due to the gears, the Indian guy just adjusted it and passed it back to me. Later on then I realised that the gear is always stuck at speed 4 instead of the maximum of 7.
