Bedulu, Blahbatuh, Gianyar Regency, Bali, Indonesia
I have driven past this place many times, but I did not know that it was so beautiful here. At the entrance to the temple there are many shops with souvenirs and clothes. The territory of the temple and the jungle itself is huge, very, stunning views, there is something to see, to feel the energy of this place. Additionally, you can pay for a guide who will tell you everything about this beautiful place. On a weekday there were few people, you could be alone with yourself.
This place was beautiful and has potential. The premises are nice and you can tell that back then it was a amazing place. We believed the premises could be maintained a bit better but it was still amazing. Also we felt a bit exploited in a holly place but we understand. Parking cost 2.000 for motorbike Ticket was 50.000 per person and they provide you with a sarong if you need. If you wear long pants no need. Definitely worth a boat if you are looking to spend a hr or 2 walking around and enjoying.
Goa Gajah, or Elephant Cave, is a truly worthwhile spiritual destination. While the cave itself is relatively small, experiencing its quiet energy, especially if you arrive early and find a moment alone, is quite powerful. It's just a small part of a much larger, beautiful area. The gardens surrounding the cave are equally enchanting, offering peaceful paths to wander. Participating in a ritual under the large tree down in the garden provided a moment of profound joy. Whether you're interested in the cave's history, the serene gardens, or the spiritual atmosphere, Goa Gajah is a must-see for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Balinese culture.
Goa Gajah, also known as the Elephant Cave, is a mystical and historical site that blends natural beauty with ancient Balinese spirituality. The entrance carved into the rock looks like a portal into another world, and the peaceful garden and bathing pools around it create a truly magical atmosphere. It’s not just a tourist spot—it’s a place to feel the soul of Bali. Wear something respectful, and take your time to enjoy the energy. Highly recommended for those seeking culture, nature, and serenity in one place.
