This location is truly at the heart of all the action in Osaka. On my very first day in the city, I specifically sought out this spot primarily for its stunning photo opportunities. However, throughout my time there, I found myself returning repeatedly, not just for the picturesque views, but also to indulge in the incredible food and diverse shopping options that surrounded the area. Each visit revealed new culinary delights and unique shops, making it a central hub of my Osaka experience.
Visiting Dotonbori at night was an unforgettable experience. Right in front of the iconic Glico sign, the atmosphere is absolutely magical—full of life, color, and neon lights reflecting off the canal, creating a living postcard. The area is bustling with people from all over, taking photos and enjoying the vibrant energy. There are plenty of shops, including Don Quijote, perfect for fun and unique shopping.
