Even though there are many people who come here for picnics and photoshoots, don't let that stop you from doing your weekly workout here! For those looking for an early morning run, you can start from Henderson Waves and end at Forest Walk, although the park is also great for strolls and jogs. From admiring the beautiful skyline as you get across this 274 metre-long pedestrian bridge, you can end your workout with a stroll through Earth Trail at Forest Walk, which lets you cover the forest floor down under. You can also try the fitness equipment sets which the park has to offer!

Visit the Terrace Garden

From here, you can take in a breathtaking 360-degree view of Singapore. It's a popular spot for wedding couples and for photoshoots - both professional and casual! The Terrace Garden consists of a series of semi-circular terraces situated at the top of the park so you'll be able to take in new sights from here ?Surrounded by the pink bougainvillaea which blooms all year round, it's a pretty reminder of the beauty we sometimes take for granted in our very own city. Why not celebrate it with a group of friends in your own special way of capturing the moment?

Have a picnic

If you are looking for an outdoor picnic, the park is also well equipped with picnic tables and shaded by tall trees like the Eugenia, Alstonia and Rain trees. Don't forget to bring your light snacks and remember to dispose of trash properly after your meal! ?

Relax at the Therapeutic Garden

The Therapeutic Garden at Telok Blangah Hill Park was launched just last year! It's situated close to the hill forest so you embrace the peace and quiet in its natural setting. You can admire the lush greenery all around the garden with a loved one and restore your mental and emotional well-being in nature's biodiversity. After all, it is a nature park meant for healing and rejuvenating!

Visit the Alkaff Mansion

Many may not know the rich history this park has to offer. Since the early nineteenth century, this park has long been a place of gathering for trading communities. This is seen in The Alkaff Mansion which used to house a family of Arab traders who hosted parties for the social elite. It's now turned into a bar dining venue with beautiful European-style architecture and a Wildseed Cafe on its first floor. Though the bar and the cafe are not halal-certified, it won't hurt to check out the refined building that has stayed since the early days for a little history lesson on-site ?
