One of the best places to unleash your inner shopaholic in Malaysia is at Suria KLCC. However, its shopping scene has seen a drastic change ever since the pandemic hit. The once crowded mall is now filled with emptiness and we're heartbroken to share that the popular food court, RASA Food Arena is facing permanent closure after operating for 22 years ?
P.S. Over 20 restaurants and shops have closed permanently at Jonker Street in Melaka, making it a ghost town.

Located on the fourth floor of Suria KLCC, RASA Food Arena is known for serving a variety of cuisines and has been a go-to favourite for many regular customers who typically pour in during lunch and dinner hours.
In this picture taken by Instagram user, Nisa Razak, RASA Food Arena announced that they will officially be closing today on the 1st of September 2021. The photo reads:
“It is with great sadness that we announce the permanent closure of RASA Food Arena, Suria KLCC, from 1st September 2021. Thank you for your patronage over the wonderful 22 years. It has been our ultimate pleasure to serve you.”

It's sad to see yet another beloved food outlet succumb to the pandemic. Let's hope other restaurants and businesses that are still standing don't go down this route and continue to pull through until Covid-19 is over.
