Visiting Singapore Zoo In Phase 2: Promotions, What To Expect And Show Timings

With an extensive variety of wildlife and species, it's no wonder that the Singapore Zoo is one of the most popular attractions in Singapore. If you're planning a visit to the Singapore Zoo in Phase 2, you might be wondering if there is a change in ticket prices or if there are any ongoing promotions. You might also be curious to know if there are any adjustments to the show timings at the zoo. Well, we're here to give you a breakdown of the promotions and changes that you can expect if you're visiting the Singapore Zoo soon!

Singapore Zoo National Day Promotion and ticket prices

Good news! Wildlife Reserves Singapore (the organisation which manages the zoo) is having a National Day Exclusive promotion this August. If you're in a pair, you can enjoy a 55% discount off the second admission with every paying adult. This applies to not just the Singapore Zoo but also the River Safari, Jurong Bird Park and Night Safari. For the Singapore Zoo, it'll be $56.55 for 2 Adult tickets (usual price: $78) and $50.70 for 1 Adult + 1 Child tickets (usual price: $65). The promotion is valid only for local residents from 3-31 Aug 2020 (excluding 8-10 Aug). It's perfect if you're visiting the zoo with your family or a group of friends ?

But even if you're visiting after August, ticket prices to the Singapore Zoo have also been discounted and will cost $31.20, 20% cheaper than the usual price before Phase 2.

What you can expect on your visit:

1. You need to book a timeslot before visiting the zoo

As the Singapore Zoo is only operating at 25% of its usual capacity, you'll need to book a timeslot prior to your visit. Do note that time slot bookings are subject to availability.

2. Closure of Park Experiences and sections

Due to safe distancing measures, several Park Experiences and sections of the Singapore Zoo are still closed.

  • Jungle Breakfast in the Wild (till 31 Aug)
  • RepTopia Tour (till 31 Aug)
  • Elephant Presentation (till 31 Aug)
  • Token feeding (Goat, Elephant) (till 30 Sep)
  • Keepers' Chit Chat (till 30 Sep)
  • F&B Outlets: Chawang Bistro, Ah Meng Bistro, KFC Kidzworld (till 30 Sep)
  • Retail Outlets: Shaw Amphitheatre Gift Shop (till 30 Sep)
  • Exhibits: African Painted Dog, Proboscis Monkey (till 31 Dec)

3. Shows and show timings

One of the main highlights of the Singapore Zoo is their animal shows! Here's where you can catch the talented animals and their trainers interacting with each other. Do note that shows are limited to 50 people due to the Safe Management Measures.

Note: The Elephant Presentation is currently suspended till further notice.

Note: The Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife, Ah Meng Bistro and the KFC at Rainforest Kidzworld are closed.
